O/T Cookie help
Hi Polly - here's a link to the recipe and the history of Anzac
biscuits - the ingredients have a long life and so are good for a prolonged shipping time. jennellh On Mar 4, 8:57*pm, "Polly Esther" wrote: The love of my life is a Cookie Monster if there ever was one. *Thank you Jeanne so very much for showing us this great recipe place. *Wow. *Just lately, I've been researching cookies that can make the trip to Afghanistan. You forgot to include the link for Polly :-)
All Anzac recipes have golden syrup in them. I'm sure maple syrup (or even honey in a pinch) would be a suitable substitute. Dee in Oz "Jennifer in Ottawa" wrote in message ... O/T Cookie help
I just read the recipe for Anzac 'cookies' on Better Homes & Garden website.
That recipe says they will keep 3 days at room temp??? It also says we can find golden syrup in 'larger supermarkets'. Not gonna happen for Polly or me. ;-) Leslie & The Furbabies in MO. O/T Cookie help
Could someone help me. I found a peanut butter recipe on-line. I
thought I saved it but I can't find it. This cookie you rolled into a ball and baked without smashing it. It stayed in a ball. Now I can't find it anywhere. I was sure I saved it but I can't find it. Please does anyone know where to find it. The only thing I remember was it took 2 or 2 1/2 cups of sugar and 1 or 1 1/2 cups of flour. I think it took 1 cup of Peanut Butter. Thanks Not sure this is the one you're looking for but it sounds familiar at least. 1 cup sugar 1 cup peanut butter 1 egg mixed together; roll into small balls; bake 8-10 min at 350. This recipe, as you can tell, can easily be doubled, tripled. Donna in WA |

O/T Cookie help-Substitution for Golden Syrup
A recommended substitution is 1part molasses to 2parts light corn
syrup though the flavour will not be exactly the same - the texture will not be altered. jennellh On Mar 5, 2:55*am, "Leslie& The Furbabies in MO." wrote: I just read the recipe for Anzac 'cookies' on Better Homes & Garden website.
