from what i got thru all this...
Pat is moving off the hill and down to the village, hence the
green...village green.
i reckon its to be closer to the local pub tho.
i was thinking 'Pat near the pub' or 'Pat nearer the pub' might be
appropriate.

Yes! I am moving from my hill! Polly said I should have changed the
sig. to Pat OFF her Hill!! But, I fear there could be too many
allusions to 'off trolleys' etc g. Not yet; but I'm getting all the
preliminaries done. It might be round about Easter.

how about this...
"Pat flaked out on the LIME cuz of drink'n too many margaritas in the nearby
pub"
works for me.
certainly generates some interesting conversation around here.
oh what the newbies would wonder about that siggy.

messed up, naaaa, just rearranged or reconfigured a few things.
all will be fixed with a bit of help from dh.
how about you control the mouse and have dh guide you thru the process.
then if you ever want to reconfigure anything another time you'll know how.
get him to explain it as you go too.
people at ease with computer stuff too often whizz thru it with little
consideration for the learner and that isnt right at all.
if they explain things slowly and clearly you'll learn how and not need to
ask for help next time, well at least with that issue.
you'd know that from teaching quilting. slow and clear being sure the
learner actually got it and you're away laughing.
good luck,
j.
