My 8yo nephew is a great Doctor Who fan. I was planning a quilt for him now
that he has his own bedroom and would love to find Doctor Who fabric to back
it. Has anyone seen any, please?

Thanks,

Megwen

I haven't found any but if you do, let me know.My DGD is a fan so much
that she claims her name is Marfa Rose (her pronounciation)
I 've been trying to find embroidery designs also.No luck there.

I would *so* buy some if I could find it. I love the show!

and Wikipedia) to find out what happened!)

Every one has a photographic memory. Some just don't have film.

Since nobody seems to have found any, Megwen, I wonder if it would be an
interesting idea to contact Makower and suggest that they design and
make one? Dr Who, in its present form, has captured a whole new
generation of fans, and they would surely know that. It might not be
available quickly enough for your nephew now-ish, but most people who
love Dr Who seem to retain the fascination!

A British company (like Makower) might like the idea and seize on it.
M. do make some lovely novelty fabrics - so they are not just flowers
and fancy prints. Go on - try it - you've nothing to lose!

If you can't find any, you could always appliqué a bunch of question
marks.
JA

and a few Tardises too.

I have a great print with large scale planets and solar systems.
Might something like that work instead of a specific "Dr. Who" print?

My DH and I are Who fans! We watched it as children and find it "better" now
that we are adults. I would even watch reruns of the old shows. My only
problem is when they make you like a character (Rose Tyler or the Doctor in
particular) then change the Doctor to a different actor or remove Rose....)
I know, it is the story line. They will keep changing characters, but I
really liked Rose and the first Dr.! LOL

Just me, love the show and will have to buy some of the fabric if anyone
ever creates something.
