If all else fails, I know there are books on Celtic knotwork out there that show you how to develop your own endless knots (I assume you could use the method to turn out a Tibetan knot as well as the Celtic variety). It's kind of a fascinating process where you start with a grid and go through various machinations and end up with an endless knot. If you find you need to turn to this option, let me know and maybe I can find the book I have on the subject. I think it might have been published by Dover, but wouldn't swear to that. Best wishes, Ericka |

you've piqued my curiosity - are there any images online to look at of
the Tibetan knot? I did a google search but got lost in a sidetrack about textiles around the world and never did find an example. LOL! Short attention span! Jeanine in Canada Well, I have an image of the knot I need. I will have to sit down with my computer illiterate self and figure out how to get it from here to there into Pattern Maker. I'm lazy! V |

I'm curious to know just *what* it is that makes a knot a Tibetan knot as opposed to any other type of Asian knot? I have a lovely book on Chinese knotwork (hidden somewhere in my stash *#$(*$*$^ ) and I wonder if one of the knots show there would be suitable. That is assuming I can *find* the blasted book!! CiaoMeow ^;;^ . PAX, Tia Mary ^;;^ Queen of Kitties Angels can't show their wings on earth but nothing was ever said about their WHISKERS!! Nothing is complete without a few cat hairs! |
