Default Looking for paper/cardstock source

My favorite stamp store has gradually become more focused on
scrapbooking, to the point that they no longer seem to carry much
paper card/tag art. I am looking for a good on-line source for basic
cardstock, e.g. glossy white/black, matte white, coated and
non-coated, etc. I need a variety to use with various stamping
techniques. All I seem to find is various colored stock.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

I feel your pain. It happened to my favorite local stamp store, too ...
and then Embossing Arts, down the road apiece, went out of business.
That left Craft World - but they shut their doors here just before the
holidays. There's no longer a single store in this town where I can buy
stamps - or much of anything else in the way of craft supplies. All my
stamp purchases are now made n line (which isn't a *bad* thing, 'cause
it makes for a much wider choice of designs, but I miss my instant
gratification!)

Try these:

The Paper Palette (http://www.insta-site.com/ThePaperPalette/) - while
they specialize in exotic and decorative papers, they do have basic
blacks and whites in their glossy, non-glossy and Star Dream text-weight
categories. Great folks to do business with.

Marco's Paper (http://www.marcopaper.com/index.html) - Good prices on
bulk packages of basic white cover stock, among many other things.

You might also check with commercial printing companies in your area -
I've found that they're often willing to sell a case of paper at not
much more than they pay for it wholesale, and one printer in our area is
even willing to let people order from his paper suppliers through him -
again, in case quantities.

You can buy reasonably good-quality white or off-white stock at the big
box office supply stores such as Staples. Look for "cover stock."

I have heard that paperzone.com is a great site for getting the right kinds of
cardstock. They have coated and uncoated, vellums, and glossy.

One of my favorite, and they have GREAT
sales, for the basics, is Neenah Paper. They
have a few decorative papers, but 99% is just
basic cardstock (which is 80 lb Cover - it can
get VERY confusing as they have all kinds of
weights available also) here is the link:

http://www.neenahpaper.com/

The paper quality is fantastic!! I can't say enough
about the quality and the pricing - everyone who
buys from Neenah is thrilled. I'd love to know
what you all think : )
