Topic: what's your favorite embelishment?
I love layered, folded or torn scrapbook paper on my cards. Brads, eyelets
and all those other little bits and pieces of metal that can be attached to cards are fun too. I bought some prima flowers this summer on vacation because they are so pretty but haven't used them yet. I love ribbon too so guess I don't have a favorite, they all seem to go together at times. Hmmm...would you call that collage? I hope not. SAD On 9/14/06 6:47 AM, in article , "Alison" wrote: I'm a total glitter glue fanatic. A card with butterflies, dragonflies, or flowers just isn't complete for me until there are touches of glitter (especially on those wings!). PSX Diamond is my ultimate favorite, of course, it isn't made anymore :-( Alison |

I hate to tell you, SAD, but if you're using torn paper, pits and bieces of
metal, ribbon, and soon prima flowers... you're fast approaching collage! :-) Or, perhaps you use them one at the time?? Alison "Wave Jumper" wrote in message ... Oh no!!! Guess I've joined the collage group and didn't even know it...and
I bought more brads and ribbon today while at Michaels. Had to use that 50% coupon on something. I was looking at a bar stapler, it uses real wide staples, but couldn't decided if I'd use it so didn't buy it. Does any one have one of those, and if so what do you use it for? Okay so I think my favorite embellishment would have to be brads. I
love them. Have any of you ever tried the loopy brads? They are really a lot of fun. believe it or not, after 6 years of stamping I am finally starting to use ribbons and staples. So I guess I am stepping out of the box so to speak. Inky Huggz, Missy Olson North Branch, MN |
