Default 2 1/4" grosgrain equivalent

I make these climbing shoe covers.
I am using a 2 1/4" grosgrain but I am looking for something a little more
abrasion resistant and a little heavier?
I do not want to cut to width or cut to length and would rather buy by the
roll.

Anyone have any ideas?

colors: black, and forest green
