Needlework/Embroidery in Italy
Hi,
I am going to Italy in early September and might have *time* for some museum/shopping that is needlework related. Does anyone know of shops or museums in Italy? We will have extended time in Florence, Venice and Rome. Also we are visiting Assisi and other smaller towns. Any information appreciated! Grazie! Elizabeth |

In Florence:
- Scandinavia (Via de' Ginori 23/r) - Zest (via della Mattonaiam 5 - near Piazza Beccaria) - Silvi (via dei Tavolini, 5/r) - Mercerie Toscane (Via del Parione 22r) There's a shop, don't know the name, in Piazza dell'Olio (near Piazza Duomo). In Rome: - Emporio di Alice (Via Bellinzona, 25) http://emporiodialice.pcupdate.easyspace.com/ - Spizzichino (via Alessandria) - Rinaldi (Via Candia) http://www.decoricamo.com - Sermoneta (Via dei Falegnami) Enjoy your travel to Italy, and have a pleasant stay :-) Ciao, Stefania -- Stefania Bressan (Italy) http://digilander.libero.it/angolostefania |
