Quilting Machine Advice Please
Hi, I just found this NG today and thought that some of you might be able to
give me some advice on buying a quilting machine. Although I would love to have one, I really can't afford one of the long arm machines so I was thinking of buying one of those frames that use your regular sewing machine. I saw one at a quilt show last week but it just had a frame with no legs or any attachments. I would like to find something that includes items like table, or legs and allows you to follow a pointer ( or similar function ). Can anyone give me some advise as to what to look for, brand names, and approximate costs of these. Thanks, Shirley Caylor |

Hope you don't mind if another newbie jumps on the bandwagon. I just went &
signed as well. The only machine I've ever seen is the longarm at the quilt shop. I'd love to see a home model, but have never even been to a quilt show. Just learned today that a co-worker's mom is going to the one in Rosemont via a bus trip. That would have been so much fun!! Oh, well, maybe next time. Merrystitch "Laurie G." wrote in message om... I bought a frame from John Flynn Quilt at the Quilt
Show last weekend. I haven't tried it out yet but I am soon. You use your regular SM to quilt with. Check it out at www.flynnquilt.com dreamboat "Shirley.Caylor" wrote in message ...
