Default Thanks for the Hug Blocks

Thanks to all of you who sent me hug blocks, quilt tops, quilts and fabric
squares for the 5 quilts I made for my Niece's children. You may recall
that the family lost everything they had in a Hurricane in FL. I finally
got all 5 quilts finished this weekend and they are being quilted now. I
should get them back by the beginning of next week and they will be sent off
to FL. I'll post pictures as soon as the quilting is finished and I'll also
ask my Niece to send me pics of the kids with their quilts.

I NEVER could have gotten these done without all of your help. I was not
able to use all of the blocks (without making the quilts much too large for
the kids) so I am also sending my Niece a list of names of everyone who
contributed.

I wanted everyone to know that anything remaining will be used for more hug
quilts and is going to be forwarded on to Maryd today. She and I are also
on another ng together and this morning she asked that ng for help in making
quilts for a local family near her that lost everything in a fire. That
family, like my Niece's also has 5 kids and I'm sure Maryd will be able to
use as much help as she can get.

Thanks again to all of you! You are such wonderful people and I really
appreciate all of you pitching in the way you did.

Shirley, You are welcome. I am glad to see the extra blocks going to another
needy family. I look forward to seeing the quilts!

Thanks for the update on your Hug Project. It is nice to know that the
blocks will go into another Hug for someone who really needs it.

And I thank you, Shirley, and everyone. I think quilters are the most
generous people in the world.
