back for Washington, mostly OT
Hi,
I just got back from visiting a friend in Snohomish, WA. This was not really a quilt related trip, just a chance to visit with my friend and climb a bit with her. I did make it to a large fabric store in Everett (Pacific Fabric?). I forgot my quarter inch rule, and as I was using it to help mark the quilting lines on the quilt I brought with me, I had to replace it. They had a lot of nice cottons, and I had to restrain myself. I thought about going to in In the Beginning, but decided I didn't want to drive into Seattle. I also poked around a lot of antique stores and saw some nice quilts and tops. Nothing said 'buy me' though. It was interesting; the last time I was in the Pacific Northwest, I bought a lot of feedsacks and old fabric. This trip I saw very little fabric and no feedsacks. lisae |
