Best knot for joining wire fence

this is not the same name and application, but it is allmost the same
knot as in Bernie's post. May be this helps to figure out Bernie's
post?
Only the final tuck is different: the end should go next to the other
end.
Then you end up with the knot I use in steel wire.
And then again, it is still not exactly the same as in Bernie's ascii
art picture.
now that I write this, I think I only cause a new Burgess Meredith
scene.
