A fun site!
http://www.yuni.com/library/latin.html
DH and I were looking for a website to translate an English phrase to Latin so I could embroider it on a fabric bowl. In our hunt, we came across this website and spent quite some time giggling over the phrases. It's amazing how a little Latin can spiff up a sentence! I see lots of embroidery possibilities here. -- Kathyl remove "nospam-" before mchsi http://community.webshots.com/user/kathylquiltz |

What a gem of a site, Kathyl. Thanks so much!
I used to teach Latin (among other things!), but we didn't learn useful things like this! just grammar and translation. I loved it, but the pupils didn't g. I could see a use for these in machine quilting too - along borders, for instance. Again, thanks. I guess I could have first put out the query here about a translation. I'll
not tell you what we decided about "Best Damn Administrator". It's a moot point now. I'm not doing it over!!!! "Patti" wrote in message ... What a gem of a site, Kathyl. Thanks so much!
