Me too, Donna. I am a pro when it comes to finding freebies, but this one
has so many features that I will end up purchasing the program. I have now
set up lists for my quilting mags that I subscribe to so that now I don't
buy duplicates when I see them on the newstand (I've been known to buy
triplicates on occasion!), for my Erlene Fowler books, Jennifer books,
Dragons of Pern books, Janet Evanovich books, Redwall books. Now I know
what I have and what I need.

The next list will be all the quilting books I own so I'll know what I
already have when I am looking at books in the LQS or Joann's. And of
course the UFO list will be added as well.

I downloaded the ListPro trial. I think I like it even better than
SpashShopper. I may keep it & get rid of SplashShopper.

My Tungsten C came with a similar program called Note Pad. It works

great
for quick shopping lists. I also downloaded a trial for ListPro. This

one
I may buy! I entered all my book collections so I know what I have and

what
I still need when I go to the bookstores. They can be color coded,
indented, categorized, hidden when needed. ListPro also provided a

bunch
of
sample lists to download. They had one for Singer sewing machines with

all
the serial numbers already entered! Also have one for all the DMC

threads
that can be sorted by number, color or shade. I love this program!

Has anybody gotten the "Bug Me" program? Looks kinda interesting,

but
can't
find where I can download it for a trial run.

I've got it for my PalmV

I use it quite freqently for jotting down phone # when I haven't got

the
time
to "print" them into Datebk. It is easy to use and rather basic, but

it
works.
Jot down reminders too. Or diagram for folks when you haven't got

doing a stakeout with Ranger. ;^)

It's raining here! LOL Actually, I spent all day at a glass bead show and
the only thing I had strength for after that was sitting at the puter! I'll
have to scan my purchases. They are so awesome!

My main email address gets about 75 spam emails a DAY. It used to be
worse, more like 100, but when my computer was on the blink a year
ago, my mailbox got too full and some stuff bounced. Maybe that got me
taken off a few spammers' lists!

Dragonfly
-who is surprised that even going back to 2000, she wasn't in the top
40 posters.
At all.

Guess this is just 'another way' to cull our email addys.
Are some of you getting MORE spam these past 2 weeks than
"normal"? I avg about 3 a day--these past 2 weeks its about 12.
Like "I" need bigger and better and more and and MORE--
Now a Million dollars would be ok, but NO, do they offer to just give
you a Million dollars........(Course if I had a Million dollars I could
afford to buy all that 'junk'...nahhhhhhhhh )

If you change the date that you look at, you will be able to see if you
are listed by a previous email address. I played with it for the 3 ngs
that I used to belong to (back down to 2 now) and found myself listed
with my regular email address instead of my supposed spam-proofed
address...lol

I noticed that they only use the 'latest' email addy that I have--not

Now...I wonder if they also counted how many times we talked about
QUILT related things hehehehhe
That should give them something to ponder....

Ohmagod! I'm number 19. Geesh. Talk about big brother! I guess
they do
this for a legit reason, huh? They also list me in 5 ngs, but there
is only
one other besides this one that I even read and that's the machine
embroidery one. I have subscribed to ngs on gardening and pups, but
not for
long, but I guess they count those.

If your ISP is one of the "big names", they don't have to have your
email address to spam you. They just send it out to every combination
of numbers and letters " or " or " or
" or whatever. Most bounce, many get through. If the spam
doesn't bounce, they know it's a good address and sell that address to
other spammers.

Among the nearly 100 offers I get daily are several monthly that offer
to sell me those address lists.

Only 3 or 4 spams a day would be heavenly. Even 20 would be a vast
improvement!!!!

Yes, Ms. B, I am getting LOTS more spam lately. Maybe 20 daily
this week!! I am NOT in directory.

Will probably work out a new address this weekend and spam proof
it. I'll let you know of course.

And i just realized that even if you're not subscribed to a group, if you've
responded to a cross posted post, then stats for that other group will show up under
your name as well. Interesting.

Dunno - it's got me down for 36 other news groups, but I only belong to
13! And some of those are almost completely moribund!

*pout*

It gave me an error message when I went to look at my profile!

I post in a group where crossposting is the rule rather than the
exception, so I was really curious to see what it said about me.

I was amazed to see that I was #29 here and on the list in a couple of
others as well! #2 poster in alt.discordia in fact.

Hail Eris!

For some reason when I tried Mailwasher, it messed up my email. Don't know
