Default removal of anti-glare coating from eyeglass lenses?

Hi Folks.

Does anyone know if there's a chemical out there that will dissolve
this coating from my lenses? It's scratched and is very annoying. The
lenses are otherwise fine.

thanks

There are several products available to optical dispensers for removing AR
coatings. Visit your local Lenscrafters, Pearle Vision, etc. and ask.

Probably cost you about $10.00.

Don't try to do it yourself - you will either screw up your lenses or worse.

Do what I did.... I asked my optician to remove the coating for me for free
and refund the $$ I wasted on it. Got it too...;-) The stuff does come with
some kind of warranty. My 'new' optician (non-chain-store) gives me a 2
year warranty on everything, and has proven to be a smart change on my part.

regards, JB
