I usually make it 36x45......but they make batting that states it is
"crib size" and I think it is a little bigger.

Funny you should ask.
It is 36" x 45" because that is how big the top is and it HAS to be basted
tonight and I am just WAY too tired to add borders and baste in one night.
It's all I can do to prepare a back and baste it. It has to go to a
different houst to be quilted TOMORROW.

I'm actually putting a baby quilt together too. I made 108 hsts yesterday
and laid them out. It only came out to 18 x 24! So, we're planning borders!
LOL

This is going to be my first FMQed quilt.

I just made a baby quilt with a zillion HST's as well.....pinwheel type
pattern, with a border and butterflies in the corners. I think it's about
36 x 45", now I'll have to check. I just guessed at it and I think it looks
to be a good size.
