Default Cool Garage sale find

My mother, daughters and I have made it sort of a tradition to "do" garage
sales in the wee hours of the morning. I shop mostly for clothing - for the
girls. Today I happened upon a really cool thing

I found a quilt hanger - not sure what else to call it.

It is very long and has little knobs that turn out so that you can insert
the quilt edge into it. It even has a groove to prevent squishing the quilt
binding...

It is beautiful. The woman that sold it too me said she bought it in
Lancaster, Pa and paid $60.00 for it. She bought it to hang a decorative
throw. When she hung it she felt it was too big and took it down. So - it
has really never been used. The BEST part - I bought it for $5!!

Hurray for yard sales

What a neat find, Roberta, good for you. I guess the trick is "wee hours".
The garage sales I've been to were pretty well nothing special when I got
there. Polly

It sounds like the "art in a pinch" quilt hanger that I have. If so, you
got a great deal. I bought mine at a quilt show and really like it. They
are online at http://www.artinapinch.net/
