Default Happy, happy, happy dance

Today I finished a memory quilt for a 9/11 victim's family. The quilt has
been 2 years in the making. Although I live in Texas and the family lives in
New Jersey, my husband and I are considering personally delivering the quilt
(and two others made by friends for the children in the family) when we are
on the east coast for a family funeral.

I'll see if my husband will post pictures on his company website tomorrow.

Yes, it was very nice, thank you. We had dinner at the Rockfish, out on the
patio which was surprisingly pleasant for Houston in July.

Did you get to share your quilt top at Killer Bees? And what about the
mysterious round robin piece? I think I would like to get more involved in
RCTQ activities now that my evening and weekend classes are finished. I'll
probably get back to some master's level classes next year but I am going to
enjoy a year of teaching without extra study commitments.

Good for you, Elizabeth! I'm sure the family will appreciate those
quilts, whether you're able to deliver them in person or not.
