Default Batting Question

I have a questions about Warm and Natural batting. It says it's 100%
cotton. I picked up a remnant of it last night and was wondering if this
would be ok for my potholders?

Sure! W&N or Quilter's Dream Cotton are in most of mine. (Although I like
using two layers for the pot holders where I'm actually going to be holding
a hot heavy pot. One layer is fine for the pot holders where I'm pulling out
the rack on the toaster oven.)

Ive used all types of batting for mine... but always add a layer of denim
from used up jeans for added heat protection. It seems to work!

I prefer to make mine from baby corduroy with two layers of
W&N wool batting, means I have to hand quilt (attepmt to)
because my present machine will not sew through that much
heavy material. I had a few iffy moments just piecing the
last one I made.
