Congratulations, I am sorry that I could not be there to see it.
I did meet up with Krysia for breakfast about halfway on her journey
down.
Have got a picture of us but nowhere to post it.

It's lovely to be able to come home with exciting news, and tell
'family'!

I have been at Quilts UK show at Malvern today (where we had our usual
small, but perfectly formed meet-up); and I was delighted to find that
the quilt I have been working on for almost a year (many of you will
have heard about it!) was given a Judges Merit award (rosette). This
isn't a placing in the class, but I am thrilled to have received it.

I haven't any pictures ready yet; but will post them when I can.

Thanks to many of you who have encouraged me along this rather long
road.

Woohoo, Pat! Congratulations! That's terrific. Sometimes it's even
better to get a special award like that one than to place in the class.

Well done on your rosette, and I'm sorry I missed the meet-up this
year! It sounds like you must have had a lovely picnic by your
special tree...

What wonderful news, Pat. Quick now...we need pictures... well as soon as
you have some champagne and chocolate in celebration of the judge's good
taste.
