Pat's quilt just makes my heart sing. I can't wait for you all to see it.
And I am so relieved that the Judges knew it. It would have been such a
burden to have to take the gators over to discuss Pat's beautiful creation
with the Judges. Gators really don't care for the taste of airport security.
Anyhow -- congratulations, Pat. How very, very wonderful. Big hugs and
whooopeee. Polly

It's lovely to be able to come home with exciting news, and tell
'family'!

I have been at Quilts UK show at Malvern today (where we had our usual
small, but perfectly formed meet-up); and I was delighted to find that
the quilt I have been working on for almost a year (many of you will
have heard about it!) was given a Judges Merit award (rosette). This
isn't a placing in the class, but I am thrilled to have received it.

I haven't any pictures ready yet; but will post them when I can.

Thanks to many of you who have encouraged me along this rather long
road.

Pat - as I said to you - your quilt deserved the rosette - it IS
beautiful! Jill and I eavesdropped on people who stood in front
of it talking about it...and we were very tempted to just burst
in and say - WE KNOW THE GIRL WHO HAS made THIS!

Thanks so much, Krysia
What fun - to listen to the people!!
I noticed two men standing looking, and taking pictures!! I guess it
was the 'fractal' base that appealed to them.
It was the hardest, but definitely most rewarding of my quilts so far.

It was really good to see you and Jill again.

Pat: Mazel tov! The quilt is lovely ... I saw it on Flossy's
site. It vibrates with the bright colors and unique design.

PS: Thanks Flossy!
