Hi Rita,

I rarely post but read the newsgroup daily and have learnt most of my

and to try appliqué. I really appreciate all the time and effort you have
put into the site. Please continue it.

I really am upset even to the point of telling my hubby, I'll pull it
off saying I don't need this grief. Not from you but from the rudeness
which I thought was aimed at me. I started this website many years ago
and thought it would be a big help especially for newbies. It's just
that it's been with a different host and they are discontinuing their
hosting unless it's accompanied by big bucks. And then I get an email
from someone who tells me how they appreciate what I've been doing. (sigh)

Chevy,

as far as I am concerned, nobody blamed Rita for server problems. At
least I didn't. I just wanted you guys to know that for some odd reason,
at least one server is choosing not to display that site. I thought I'd
point it out in case you guys wanted to check it out.

To all who are having problems with www.ritasquilts.com ,

My name is Chevy and I am the person hosting Rita's domain, as a favor, cuz
she's a wonderful person. I know her from the alt.binaries.3d.poser newsgroup.

I do this for a living and have looked at her html code and there is nothing in
there preventing any browser from displaying it. There is certainly nothing
wrong with the domain or servers, as I have 37 other domains / websites hosted
at the same service.

Just wanted to let you all know, her site is not the cause of your browsers
problems.

Here are the statistics for the 8 days her site has been up at the new host :

Rita:

If you need to find a new hosting service at a reasonable rate, try
http://ipowerweb.com/. They only charge $7.95 a month for a years
commitment and they allow a huge amount of bandwidth. I've been with
them over a year now and they are by far the best hosting service I
have been with.

Rita, just thought you'd be happy to know that portions of your webpage have
been sent to me in response to questions I have asked on this newsgroup. And,
being fairly new to quilting, I have had many questions!

Please keep your webpage up. It's been very helpful to me.

Thanks for all you do,
kaila

Rita, I'm getting ready to bind a quilt in about a week or so....would you
object to me printing off your page on binding for my own personal use?? It
would be easier for me to spread the pages out on the living room floor as
I'm doing it rather than sitting in front of the computer. If you have any
objection, I won't print them.

Your web page is excellent and very inspirational. It is nice to know I
have SOME hope of being a decent quilter as I am just sort of beginning and
I am self taught. Thanks for a wonderful site.
