Okay, the wiff and kid are now down in Houston for the show. Wiff is
wearing a black and white patchwork jacket, kid is wearing her creation
that is mauve, sand and grey with stencilled flowers. Kid has already
been stopped multiple times and photographed (jacket is really
impressive, then again, so is she). They're in checking out the
preview right now.
Don't know what's worse, them down there or the phone message that she
got with a personal invitation to the Younker's customer appreciation
event (runs through Sunday, just like the Houston show).
I just keep thinking about the lines in "Pretty Woman:" Richard Gere -
"She has my card." Clothing store clerk -"And we'll help her use it!"

lol Frank - are there any more at home like you?

Hope they both have a wonderful time, and I am sure they
won't send you to debtor's prison. If they do - you could
always ask for deportation to the old penal colonies instead
and move to OZ!

Hey! We have pretty good fishing here too (although ATM the
prolonged drought is playing havoc with the river systems).
Tasmania is great for trout. Or you could get adventurous
and go for barramundi up north (just be careful to avoid the
crocs lol)

Can't Polly tell him how to handle the crocs? They can't be much more difficult to deal with than
her gators???

Default Houston Night One

I just got home from Night One at the show... I am totally exhausted and
can't wait for round 2 tomorrow. I will see the competition quilts tomorrow
and then do some shopping! I can't wait... I promised hubby that tonight I
would not spend a dime ...well I spent $5 for a nice bag. The money went to
the Susan B Koleman (sp) Breast Cancer reasearch. He didn't seem to mind
about that.....

I have a list of vendors I want to spend time with the next few days. Hubby
is going to join me on Sunday after my class. I found a long arm I want and
he wants to check it out before I get to serious about it. There was a few
other things I wanted him to see... He is very techinical when it comes to
things and want to make sure things are put together well before money is
spent on them..... He made me promise not to purchase any high dollar items
until he looks at them. Fair enough.

I found a quilt kit that he liked when I showed him on the net. It's at the
show and I can't wait to show it to him in person. I was in complete heaven
today.

When I get home tomorrow night, I will try to write more... but now.. I have
a date with the back of my eye lids.

Good Night All

Okay, watch it ladies. Brenda has a mean right hook. She played
hockey with her brothers. Not the jealous type, but she equates
touchin' me to someone raiding her stash.
