Default Bone & Wood

Wood and bone carving has existed on the territory of Kazakhstan for a
very long time. According to historians, during the Sak-Massaget epoch
(8th - 3rd BC) decorative ornaments (stylized images of various animals
and ornamental motives) were made from wood and bone. During the Turkic
khanate (6th - 8th centuries), many articles including household
articles were made from wood decorated with complex relief engraving.
In YURDAN you can see camel bone perfume bottles, camel bone jewellery
boxes, wooden jewellery boxes and wooden pencil boxes.
