Default Hoop Earring repair

Hi,
The original message has dissapeared on me, but I happened to run across a
website that has the earring part needed for the hoop earring repair. Here
is a direct link to the page:
http://store.metalliferous.com/products.asp?dept=1065 Hope this helps!

Default Hoop Earring repair

Sorry it took me so long to respond to everyone's responses.
I posted a picture he www.jewelrybychaddock.com/brokenhoops

But, it's a bit late. I _thought_ I had figured out what I needed to
do. I needed to mold a piece of wire or head pin and squish the
little metal holder tight enough to keep it in place and let it
twirl. Then it happened! I broke the metal holder off! So.. now I
KNOW there is nothing I can do. Fortunately I warned the owner that I
might do additional damage if I fiddled with it and she still gave me
permission. :-)

Lucky ya warned her... I was about to say, looks like it would cost more to
fix it than replace it.

Tell her to take it back to the store. I had the same thing happen to a pair
of white gold hoops I bought from Wally World, and I took them back and got
my $$$. Didn't see any use in getting another pair just like them. Besides I
had broken up w/the guy that bought them anyway. LOL
