Default Totally OT for Kiwis

The Master of the Remote is considering a September holiday in NZ.
What is the weather like at that time of the year, please, when is Spring in
the Land of the Long White Cloud?

Spring in the Land of the Long White Cloud?


It's a very long country. The weather in Auckland will be early spring,
could be good a lot of the time but almost certainly some bursts of heavy
rain. Down at the bottom of Pig Island they will probably have just
about worn out last season's gumboots from crunching through frozen
puddles and they'll still be scraping the green mould out of their
eyebrows every morning.
