Holiday Quilt Photos posted
Hi Everyone, I finally posted photos of the Holiday quilts I made for 2
friends. I quilted them on the HQ16 and was quite happy with the results (not bragging here). They are on the Yahoo PHoto album. One has meandering and the other has Christmas Tree patterns that I chalked on before quilting. I wish all of you a joyous holiday and hope all your wishes come true. Were these your first projects on the HQ16? It looks like you did a great
job -- I can see why you're happy. Hope your friends are as thrilled as I would be to get them! -- Louise in Iowa nieland4 at mchsi dot com http://community.webshots.com/user/louiseiniowa "nana2b" wrote in message news:X6Yxd.2433$_62.963@trnddc01... Hi Louise, These were not the first that I quilted on Rosie, but they were
the first done with the Stitch Regulator installed. It made such a difference for me. I got pretty good at meandering and following lines from a stencil, but curves were a sore spot. I really hated the "eyelashes" that showed I was moving too fast around curves. After the holidays I want to try a pantograph. My friend Kim loved hers. She was so impressed and was so touched that I made it for her. She is the type of person that wouldn't even hint for a quilt. That is exactly why I made it for her. Happy Holidays, Linda in Tx |

Hi Sandy, Yup, I love that pattern. It is not so intimidating when you
have a crunch deadline. This was actually the first pattern I used when I started to quilt 2 years ago. Happy Holidays from "snowy" Plano, Tx Linda |
