Default Another Happy Dance

Well, here I go again dancing in the November night. Finished my Country
Stars Gone Wild last night. It is a nice sofa, nap quilt size. Flannel on
the back, some pretty big tucks here and there, but too hard to remove and
I'll live with them.
On a roll, off to have some dinner and then get two BOM done for guild
tomorrow.

Thanks Jessamy,
You probably don't know it but I have Dutch roots in those tulips, my
mother's parents were both born in the Netherlands. One of my favourite
flowers are tulips and a friend made me a birthday quilt of them!
Now don't trod on the budding heads trying to get ready for spring.

cool!! do you know the area they came from?

I'm always careful when I happy dance in the tulip fields - that's why the
dance is so very wild and erratic! that's me missing the tulips

Grandma was born in Rotterdam and Grandpa in Imuden [?sp] the seaport. He
was number 13 born of a sea captain, they were both born in 1899. They both
emigrated to Canada and lived in Winnipeg, then Regina before moving to
Vancouver. We had a cousin of Grandma's in Rotterdam until about 2 years
ago. I visited her in 1977 for about 5 days and she came to Canada several
times. She's responsible for my learning cross-stitch and first buttonhole
stitching felt animals and then applying it to quilting.
