I may have been one of the people admitting to that.... although I was only
half joking. With 3 little kids and 2 large dogs (and extra kids and dogs from time to time) it is inevitable that on a daily basis at least PART of my tile floor is sticky! I vacuum downstairs daily, spot mop as needed and do a big giant mop the whole kitchen/bathroom/entryway tile floor the fewest times possible! I HAVE a quilting/art studio in the house, but most of my stuff gets done where ever.... sometimes chaos makes it easier to create and somedays I have to have a sparkling house first.... Howdy!
Carry-out prime rib? Was one of the single dudes along or did you meet him there? Sticky floors? No way, not w/ dogs in the house (or on the back porch). VBG Btw, I never bother to flame anyone; why waste gas? ;-D Ragmop/Sandy---rounding the bend on the latest quilt... P.S. Exactly what I was going to say. I don't have kids, but Stuartdog (and
the late SimonDog did too) has regularly visited the homes of friends with young children. On more than one occasion, after all the food has been cleaned up from under the high chair and under the kitchen table, a friend has said to her DH , "we need one of those!" Of course, I always agree, since I think MOST families need a dog. " Ellison" wrote ... Sticky floors? No way, not w/ dogs in the house (or on the back porch). Jumping on the bandwagon here, I vacuum all carpeted areas 1 or 2 times a
week (usually one, sometimes more if, for example we are holding a party/having dinner guests), I vacuum and mop the tile areas once a week too, more if needed. We may have toys hanging around underfoot, or magazines scattered across the lounge coffee table/chairs but at least we are "homey" and welcoming. There are no "don't touch thats" in my house. -- Sharon From Melbourne Australia (Qof DU) http://www.geocities.com/shazrules/index.html Member of the Houston 2004 Party Animals "Kellie J. They should be careful what they wish for.

I'm on my Way!!!! just give me the directions. Organized, well to some
I would be considered very organized to others well I am told it is manageable confusion. My studio is where I can trash if I want and not have to worry about a thing. So if the floors are piled high with clippings, threads and scraps of fabric or paper who cares??? Even when my kids were young it was organized clutter. The entire house was our 'work' area. Not even the bathroom was a sacred place. (Thanks to silly soap). Of course you are always welcome to bring those quilts here... I don't think they would mind being lost in the confusion. juliasb Ellison wrote: Howdy!
