Posted pics, the first 2, of a blue jean quilt for someone special. I
machine embroidered some things on it. Birthed it with blue hearts
fleece. Can't post on facebook or else the intended person will see it.
Can't have that happen till xmas.

Default Polly... New quilt finished

There's no patches the different ones are either from the leg seam or
over the pocket and then I seam ripped the pocket off. So it leaves a
darker blue jean underneath. I've always considered it my little quirk.
Most don't go through the trouble to use the pockets or leg seams but I
think it adds character and it makes each one unique.

I really like that. And I like the idea of it being a "picnic quilt". It
would hold up really well and just get softer and softer as you washed it.
