I have him safely -- I am only taking the banners to down under next week--
I have good photos of him all over so I can show everyone.. I am amazed how
he has grown since I saw him last. I love all the pins and mementos. I'm
taking him to a quilt group this morning before I go to my last afternoon at
work. He would have been too crowded in my pack.

Would you like him to come home so he can go to Houston and preen his
feathers and pins?? I can priority him in the morning. I have a new email
because this one is too full of junk mail.

He is safe with me -- I wanted to take him down under but he has grown to
be a hefty teen-ager. I will take his ribbons to sign. I took really clear
photos of him all over to show instead. I am fascinated by all the pins and
mementos that he has now.

Would you like him to come home so he can go to Houston?? I am taking him
to my quilt group this morning before going to my last afternoon of work
before I leave. I can priority him in the morning to you. Send me your
snail-mail to my new Addy.

Wonderful! You enjoy him a while longer, Mim.
No, I don't need him right now; not going to Houston this year
(I decided Sunday night; need to work on the patio which
has been waiting for cool weather, and it's cooler here than
in Houston g). Someone will want him there next year, I bet.
Perhaps when you are ready to send him on his way,
Sarah will want to see him again. She's not worried, much,
just wondering where he got to this time. ;-)
Does he still have his green feather boa?

Thanks for letting me know. I'm sure he's in good hands
and looking forward to growing some more. g

Cheers!

Hey Mim - I'd love to see some recent photos of TDB - its been ages
since I last saw and fondled him - and no way do I want to have the
responsibility of posting him back to the States again for him to go
missing on his way to Marque in Payson!

And theres a name from the past - anyone heard from her at all?

I showed TDB to my Wed AM quilt group and what excitement!!! a couple are
originally from the UK, Suzie, and it was like old home week for them to see
the places quilters had signed.

I'm glad the pix came thru so well --

How is the beaded thimble standing up to the travels?. When Connie asked
me to make one I did not realise it would have to travel so far.

Howdy!
A couple of years ago we who were meeting at
The Really Big Quilt Show in Houston agreed to "do" boas;
mine was green, of course, and as I had TDB that year,
he got his piece, too,-- of boa, that is. If it becomes lost
or disintegrates in travel, let me know; I have boa. g
Happy Travels, Mim!
