I was losing so much hair that I went to the barber shop this morning. I
had hair everywhere in the shower and I knew this was my buzz day. It feels
different but if I had let all my hair come off on it's own I would of
needed a plumber to clean out a drain. I will wear a cap out but at home
my cats and family don't mind the bald me. Next chemo is on the 14th.

{{{{{{{{hugs Pami}}}}}}}}}}, I can only imagine how you must be feeling.
Think of all the money you spent on shampoo/conditioner/hairdressers - now
you can increase the stash!!! Just trying to make you feel better. It's
hard to convey that jokey-trying to make you feel loved-feeling through a
keyboard

((((((HUGS))))))

Gail Porter, a UK TV presenter suffered catastrophic alopoecia recently:
lost all her hair (combination of stress factors). Very pretty lass,
now bald. She was featured in the One Life series recently, showing how
she coped. She wears a little beany hat when it's cold, but other than
that just doesn't seem to bother. She tried a wig, and found it fun for
'dressing up', but didn't feel it was her, really.

Both the friends I know who lost all theirs due to chemo grew it back
again. One's came through exactly as before, one's came through totally
different!

That's a cute hat....great one for my pins. I've seen a hat like that in
the catalog from American Cancer Society...it's hard to figure out what
would look good but I didn't think I could sport a bald head.

Sandy,
The funny part was a man cam in the barber shop for a hair cut as I was
getting buzzed...I started to giggle....I'd love to be a birdie at his diner
table to see what he told his wife about this odd gal in the barber shop!!
