Now, that is a fun tour in real life -- and free! You can smell the
chocolate as you pull into the parking lot. Oh, and did you know they
sell 10 lb bars? We go through a bittersweet one every year.

marcella
when we going?

We'll definitely have to plan an excursion! I'm booked just about solid for
the next couple of months, but I could see a road trip in April or so...
*grin*

Now, if only I could smell and taste properly, I could start candymaking!

You smell just fine from here. You're a little too far away for me to taste
you, though. (besides, I'm not really in the habit of walking up to people
and licking them. I leave that job to my dog. *grin*)

if you can draw it on the paper you can quilt it? does not work for
me... I guess I have a lot more control of my hand than of the quilt
sandwich (that is good, right?) )

I pretty much suck at drawing, so my quilted version ALWAYS comes out
better! LOL

Cool. I was taking a class in Berkeley a couple months ago and heard
about this great fabric source nearby. We can do two fun things.

What fabric source? Scharffenberger's factory is very near my step-dads
house & a climbing gym. What more could I want? Visit step-dad,
getting brownie points, then on to gym. The chocolate and fabric would
top it all off.

Howdy!
Sounds good. We can have several meet-ups on the way to
Wendy's Quilt Palace; stop for more quilters, quilt shops, chocolate.
April? That sounds good, too.

Ragmop/Sandy-- with 2 PT Cruisers: no waiting!!!

When I took a class at New Pieces, the teacher told us about it. Round
the corner and across University on 4th where they have the fancy shops
is the Crate and Barrel outlet. I heard they have some remnant bins
with Macco prints - likely spelling that wrong and other cool stuff -
cottons and decorator fabrics but not quilting cottons per se. I was
told you gotta dig but there are cool things in there for a good price.
Some of the ladies had time and went after the first class and did come
back with some neat stuff to show off the next week. I was strapped for
time and haven't made it back over the bridge to check it out yet.

Wow, you're in the big time now! Aren't you going to miss going to that shop
with the bad attitude? *grin*
