New Art Glass Forum

Hi everyone.

You might have heard about www.artglassforum.com. There was recently a
server crash or some such thing and you'll need to register again if you
haven't already.

I'd like to invite you to check it out and possibly join if you're into
glass of any kind. I didn't think I'd be up for a new forum as I have
plenty to read that keeps me busy but I checked it out and I really like
what I'm seeing. One nice thing is that it's all glass. Fusing, torch,
stained, blowing, etc. And there are even separate forums for each!
Although, I'm not really sure what blowing falls under? Maybe there should
be a furnace section?

Another nice thing is that they've added a lot of what people have requested
and asked for. I wanted a glass 'business' forum where you can discuss
auctions, sales, photography, website design, etc. and they added it. Of
course, I had to take on the task of moderating it but hey...I'll deal with
that gladly.

There are also vendor forums if you want to go and converse with specific
vendors or see what they're putting on special. And there are forums where
you can advertise your auctions or website!

I know there was a concern about having more rules than those other forums,
but I think they're manageable and necessary. But then again, I respect the
fact that if you want to play at someone's house, you have to follow their
rules. I don't think they're too bad. Be nice and act as you would if
there were children in the room.

But anyway, that's it. Picture uploading is not live yet but in the future,
even if you're not a glass person, it will be a nice place to come and see
what's up for sale or auction or just to plain look at the pretties.
