Default Completion Happy Dance

First of all, sorry if you get this twice; my browser had filed it waaaaay
down the list of threads because waaaaay back when there was another post
with the same original subject line.

Secondly, thanks to those of you who gave me ideas on how to embellish
this piece. It is truly a piece I will always be proud of and I hope that
its recipients will think so too.

I just finished this morning this x-stitch. Here is a link to the photo:
http://community.webshots.com/photo/460178841fBXwnV. If you choose to look
further into this album, you will find a photo of the original work. The
changes I made a added blending filament to the window to give it a
warm, but frosty look (if that makes any sense...); changed the colour of
the dress to match the bride's gown; changed the bride and groom to silks;
used wisper blended with DMC for the fur on the cape. In a previous
discussion, I had looked for opinions on how to use the wisper and I decided
that a fully fur-lined cape would be most appropriate give a New Years Eve
wedding in Alberta!

Now I just have to save up some pennies to frame it. Good thing I still
have lots of time.

It's lovely and will look stunning framed. I'm sure they'll love it.

So, you ended up using wisper thread! Such a lovely piece, and lovely
work on your part! Whomever is the recipient will adore it!
