OT - Wish me luck as you wave me bye-bye.....
Not for good but maybe for a little bit. I'm enrolled in a School Support
Officers Course which begins on Thursday for 5 days. By completing this and the following 70 hours work experience, I will be "qualified" to work in the administration area of local schools. After the course (if I pass!) I go on the list of available relieving staff for the areas 256 schools. I've just found out I need to get my work experience done by June 17 - and y'all know I'm planning to be across the pond for about 2 of those weeks. So I'm gonna have to get my "A" into gear and once I find out who my 5 host schools are, organise my days. It works out to about 10 days and I need to have a minium 6, maximum 20 hours at any one school. So I figure 10 days, 5 schools - 2 days each. Now to schedule it all in.....!! So I may not be reading or posting as much but I'll love y'all just the same. -- Sharon From Melbourne Australia (Queen of Down Under) http://www.geocities.com/shazrules/craft.html |

You'll be fine (she says optimistically!). It does sound like you'll be
plenty busy between now and June, but I know you can handle it if anyone can! Good luck -- we'll miss your daily presence, but we hope you can pop in every so often just to let us know how you're doing. -- Louise in Iowa nieland4 at mchsi dot com http://community.webshots.com/user/louiseiniowa "Sharon Harper" wrote in message . .. Before we bye-bye you, tell us about the job. What will you be doing?
directing traffic in the hall, buying bandages and/or books, peeling potatoes? What? Will you be working with the student at all? Does the area really have 256 schools? Inquiring minds want to know?
