I'm amazed that you think I'm downright copying. I do get what you are
trying to say but I think you are taking me as a prime example and I
don't think you are being fair to me. You do realize that I'm not
threatening, I'm not using vulgar words, and I'm being respectful. I
value your opinion Sooz and always have. Yes I'm hurt right now but
that's beside the point. You didn't care when I made masks before Dawn
put up her cute guys on eBay. Why does it matter now what masks I
make? I'm applying the skills I paid good hard earned money to learn
to make the items I'm making. Never mind, I'm babbling.

I see now, it is about ethics, honest business practices. I guess I
didn't want to believe that. Like Kalera said, I am disillusioned. If I
saw this happening with someone other than an RCBer I would be pretty
ticked!! (I bought some beads that I didn't get either...)

You're trying to distract from the serious matters at hand by being too
specific. It's a classic diversionary technique, and you're pretty
good at it.

1) You do copy other lampworkers, and you do not give credit. You see
what's successfully selling, and you jump on the bandwagon -- sometimes
beating others to the auction page so you can claim it was your design
first. This is IMMORAL.

2) You have taken money for goods *numerous* times and not delivered
the items paid for. This is ILLEGAL. If the parties involved all
filed police reports at once, and they could, you would never stand a
chance -- you would be indicted and put on trial. What you have done
is fraud, plain and simple, and it is not just one or two instances.
In fact, it's international now -- you owe a pile of goods to a woman
in Hong Kong, for instance.

If I were you, Starlia, I wouldn't waste another moment trying to
defend what is indefensible. I would get really busy and try to fill
all my back orders so I wouldn't end up in jail.

Do you mean the "Raku Reversal" beads you referenced on LE in your
original post before you edited it?
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/...c29ca40?hl=en&

They bear NO resemblance to my set. Scrolling clear on Raku isn't a
terribly original idea, anyway; it's the overall composition and
presentation.

This is my freaking design! I came up with them several months ago.
I'm not saying Kalera didn't come up with them on her own either. It
happens.

Steph! You bought some you never received?!?!?

This is so WRONG.
Starlia, you are so, so lucky no one has filed charges yet.

I am not interested in private responses. This is not a private issue.
The fact that most of your work seems to be directly derivative of other
people's work is not the central issue which has caused me to lose faith
in you.

I did find it interesting that when I mentioned having a set copied on
LE you knew *exactly* which set I was referring to, without hesitation,
and wrote a lengthy defense... which you then edited out.

The private response I gave was not about this issue. I edited out my
response because it sounded childish to me. Yes I knew which set
because I did look at the S&T that day. I also showed my friends my
set the same day you put yours on S&T. I was going to keep mine to
make a bracelet but I didn't. I did keep in the fact that I posted a
message about the same technique here a few months ago but I didn't
mention how to do it.

Starlia, it is pointless to dispute something for which there is actual
proof.

I have no idea what you are talking about owing people funds.
Everything old has been paid back then some as far as I know. I wish
the folks who say I owe them anything would tell me and then show me
how I owe them. No one has contacted me but they sure seem to keep you
up to date. Why not contact me directly?

I'm not trying to be diversanary as you put it. I'm not immoral as you
put it either. I gave credit for the masks and other designs from the
folks I learned from. I'm not going to argue this any longer.
