I appreciate your input, i really do, but this is the way we are doing
it. Our goal, just like the last lot we sold like this is to attract a
shop owner, whch we did, without showing every last pic. The other lot
sold for more than twice what this is. Funny about the reserve price
thing .... I buy ALOT of stuff off ebay and it never turns me off. I
know other people who buy also and this doesn't put them off. The link
to our site doesn't show other stuff for sale. All of the other stuff is
SOLD out forever. The shop that bought it is graciously allowing us to
show it forever, That was part of the deal.
Thas for your comments ... Rainbow

It can't restore eyesight, hon', I know that. But it can make a nightmare
liveable.

Pete got a whole $30,000 from Workmen's Comp from chronic pain and inability
to work. Money wouldn't get him relief from pain, but it would allow him to
hire out some of the things that cause the worst pain.

Suing is not going to get my sight restored, which s what would be the
only acceptable solution. It's also going to give a lawyer stuffed
pockets for mediating. I hate lawyers almost as much as doctors. I
really wanted an eye for an eye, but no sane judge would give me that !
I thought maybe having to wear a patch for 16 hours a day on one eye, 7
days a week for life might be good, or on the day I go blind, he gets
to, also. we know other patients of his with problems. I only gave you
guys a light case of it. The story is 1,000 times larger than the little
epcert I gave you. I
carefully weighed all the possibilities when i was presented with the
facts by the specialist and decided that I would be 10,000 times better
off just leaving it be. For all we knew it would be he only incident of
it's type. The mess that was made of the cataract sugeries, is BAD
enough. The last laser work I had, I spent 10 scary minutes when I
thought my sight was gone forever. One of the veins is directly in my
vision center. Having money over eyesight just doesn't work for me.
In case some of you guys don't know or get Las Vegas news, we are in the
middle of a serious medical malpracticce crisis here. If you need an
ob/gyn, or pre-natal care, the doctors are going out of business faster
than you can snap your fingers. You have to go to Arizona or California
to get care. Our only public trauma center was closed for 6 weeks
because the doctors insurance was so high and they all quit. Almost all
of the doctors I saw last year do a bunch of CYA maneuvers when you
visit. They care more about being sued than treating you. The last 4
years have taught me that insurance and medical care are the 2 biggest
ripoffs on the planet.

I've seen reserves stated too.

That's not true. I have bought from sellers before who were glad to tell

me
the reserve price so I could bid that high. It's completely a matter of
personal preference. Check out the eBay boards and you will see what I
mean. Many many buyers will stay completely away from reserve auctions.

Yes, this is one of several major flaws in our healthcare system, and
your remedy -- to learn enough yourself to be able to address whatever
needed to change in order to increase your level of health -- strikes
me as the most workable way for an individual to survive its
limitations.

You're right - suing isn't going to get you your eyesight back. But it just
might keep the same thing from happening to someone else. At the very least,
you should turn him into his professional licensing agency.

It's called a XOOTR. Website is www.xootr.com And it is fun ! Everyone
in the neighborhood calls me the scooter lady. I am able to travel
around a lot better than if i didn't use it, neuropathy being what it
is. I go about 3 to 4 MILES everyday or more and if I get tired I can
hop on a bus because it folds up. The grocery store is a 10 minute walk
away or a 2 minute scoot. It is not hard to push because it has bigger
wheels than the Razor and I have a hand brake ! It glides over bumps. Of
course I do realize that it makes me a bit different ... so what !
