Best wishes! I bet you will be sewing up a storm soon .... a January baby
will need a snuggly quilt or two.

Default OT - Baby News

What great news! My daughter and her fiancé are due any time now and the
wedding was scheduled for this October but is now scheduled for next May so
we know about baby news - but regardless of the timing, it's still a
wonderful thing. I hope the morning sickness is a short event and you feel
better soon. You made the right decision about work. It's their loss!
Keep us posted on baby details!

The good news is that Mark and I are expecting our first child in January,
and are planning to get married later on in the spring, possibly June. We
had planned to marry first, but the baby news surprised us.

The bad news is, the moment I told my manager, she made my life hell at
work, was bullying me and refusing to help me (like lifting heavy objects)
though she assured her own manager that I would never lift heavy things
and I would always have help. It was a long string of little incidents of
harassment and favouring the other people in the office, including doing
several big favours for the lassie hired on the same day as myself. So, I
was signed off work by my GP for stress and depression, and handed in my
one week notice. I can now rest whenever I feel like it, but I am waiting
for the “black cloud” to lift. It would be nice, for example, to feel
like making a quilt.

I have my 12-week scan tomorrow, and will have a better idea of the due
date and all the tests they will want to do then. I’ve had terrible
morning sickness for the last 2 months, and have actually lost weight, not
gained weight, so let’s hope the next trimester is better!

Congrats to you and Mark, Jo!

I'm so sorry your manager turned into a witch. And that on top of the
morning sickness. Sheesh! Surely the second trimester will be better.

Maybe you just need to fondle some of your favorite fabrics...put your
head in a different place.

Keep us posted!
