I wonder if I could ask for some prayers and good thoughts for my friend
and co-worker Linda, a whom I've worked with her for almost 20 years.
She was diagnosed last week with cancer. She has had no symptoms to
speak of, so this was a total shock to her (and us). She started chemo
today and is undergoing additional testing this week and next. She went
to a specialist on Friday in Rochester, and today I heard that it is
Small Cell Carcinoma; it's in her lungs, liver and perhaps her pancreas.

Needless to say all of us who work with her feel blind sided by all
this...she is in her 40s, and has a college-age daughter, and is the
hardest working single mom I ever meet, often working two jobs.

She is determined to fight this, but SCC is one of the nasty ones so she
needs all the help she can get. If any of you would send some good vibes
her way I know they will be me appreciated.
