UK - Apache by The Shadows
US - the Twist by Chubby Checker

and I have heard of both of them

Same with me. No fair, they have my year on the options list and then
tells me it does not start before '55. Weird

I didn't like my birthday song, so I tried the 18 years old option.
I can tell you that I was not listeningn to Barbara Streisand at that
point in my life.
More like the Cure, the Kinks, the Clash, (no, not everything was c or
k) and so on.
Always knew that I did not listen to mainstream music.

Didn't start until I was 18 and then a week too late.
Sadly I remembered dear Matt Munro....and was Roger Williams around in 1955?

I'm too old too I remember a few years back when I was looking for a job
& there were ads for the armed forces - I was too old for that too (Not that
it was on my radar screen, but it was a bit of a jolt to find out I was
already too old for anything
