I'm not sure who made the first one of these, but I remember it being blue
denim. I thought it was so cute that I picked up the pattern at the
Lancaster Heritage Quilt Show last month. The pattern was fun to make and
the results can be seen under "public shoebox" in my webshots album.

Cute, Alice, I love it. Aren't they fun to make?

I LOVE the Lazy Girl patterns and your purse is perfect! I think the Towne
is one I haven't yet made. Chances are good that I already have the pattern
though...;-) Purse and bag patterns are like potato chips with me, can't
have just one.

I love the Towne Purse pattern. But my next one will be just a bit
taller and deeper front to back. G The zipper is separating on the
one I have been carrying for almost a year now. (Yes, I over packed it--
sigh)
For those of you that love bag/purse patterns, you do know that Joan has
a Lazy Girls forum on Yahoo groups, yes???
It is great and you can see lots of examples of bags in the photo area.
Plus get advance info and give input on future patterns/books. Joan
also has a bag book out from Leisure Arts, "Bold Bags" with some really
neat bags.

Yes Pati, I used to belong to the group but it was so talkative I just
couldn't keep up. But I do get the newsletter from the site to get my fix.

Debi Matlack got me started on "Lazy Girl" designs, and I just love
them. I was quite smitten with the "A-Door-Ables" pattern a couple
Christmas' ago, and made about 15 of them for friends and family. They
were filled with everything from candy to sewing notions to fq's to dog
treats, and even filled one with everything needed for a "proper"
pedicure. They were a hit, and so easy to do. Love that design company.

Pati, what are the insides of these bags like? Do they have pockets?
Specifically, a cell phone pocket, a couple of other pockets for
incidentals? I like to be able to find things easilyŠ. G
