Default Alarmed, my identity taken

I sent this message once, but didn't see it - did anyone else? Am I going
crazy? Because I sent a message to my other ng and I never saw it posted
there either?!?!?

I am (or was) a member of one other newsgroup for I Love Lucy fans. I
hardly ever talk there - even less than here. Anyway, today I happened to
read a post and found out someone was answering a post from ME. I hadn't
posted anything in a long, long, long time. At least it was a regular post
and nothing vulgar, but obviously a troll.

I sent them a message about that not being the real me and that I was
withdrawing from that ng. It made me think about the strange messages we
were getting from the lady in WA who thought everyone in her town was
corrupted.

Anyway, that makes me a little nervous.

Maybe you don't remember making that post in your I Love Lucy
newsgroup. After all, it was made in February!! I know I don't remember
what I posted yesterday, much less 8 months ago. I don't think you need
to get all worried about trolls sneaking off with your identity. (I am
more worried about trolls sneaking off with my brain, but that's
another story!)

How true! I'll see my name in the 'from' column on rctq, and I'll wonder
why I'm there!
