Software for making flats?
You might take a look at
http://www.ScienceOxygen.com/design1.html It is just with a collection of links about garment design. Probably you could just start from there to collect some information. |

Dear Dawn,
Although it's not shareware, Snap Fashion is the program you're looking for. It has basic croquis, and sets of garment parts that "snap" together to create your own designs. But you can do this for yourself, as well, if you have a drawing program. Make a croquis, then make separate garment parts that fit on it. My students did this, and they could use them over and over in different ways, and were their own work. You can't use anyone else's croquis for serious design--you need to learn to do them yourself.
