Oh... now you've piqued my interest! I'll have to check this out.

I just grabbed my copy of Crewel Yule and got out the tape measure - it's 5 1/2
inches by 8 1/2 inches, and about 3/4 inch thick. It's not a standard-size
hardcover, although it's larger than a standard paperback.

In terms of reading on-the-go, what we do is remove the paper cover and then
replace it when we're done reading. This will help keep it "nice" for your
bookshelf!

I'm so torn up about this. I want to get the new book, but it's
hardcover and since I tend to read on the subways and trains, it's so
much easier for me to buy paperbacks. Plus, I know it sounds anal, but
I love how all the other books have a nice "look" to them on my
bookshelf. I know it's big news to go to hardcover, but I think I
might wait to see if it comes out in paperback sometime next year. ah
(sigh)

The book will come out in paperback, but I don't know when. The next one,
Embroidered Truths, will appear in June of '05, and I suspect Crewel Yule in
paperback will appear shortly before that.

I just got out the ones I haven't read from the library. The bad thing is I
am really too busy to be reading them-but I can't stop.

Mary, I love the depth of human relationships that are expressed in your
books. It is something often lacking in mystery novels.

I just got mine and can't wait to start reading it. I'm taking it to EGA
Seminar and hoping to get it autographed.

Gosh, what a huge compliment! Thank you! A lot of that is owed to my writers'
group, who are always pushing me to deepen my characters.

You mean the one in Minneapolis? I'm going to be there on Friday, the 29th of
October -- had to change the date because of a book tour.
