Small Sandblast Templates
Hi -
I'd like to sandblast my logo into the bottom corner of every panel I sell. Anyone know where I can have a metal template made that'll let me do this quickly and easily? thanx- ~steve |

Hi Steve,
I would think any tool & die shop with an EDM, or laser machine could do it,....at a substantial cost. I have made my own stencil out of silicon rubber sheet. I found the rubber at a local hardware. These are pretty basic, but they work great. I just took a regular set of paper stencils and traced them down onto the rubber. I then cut the rubber out with an exacta knife. The rubber holds up fine to the sand blaster. I use a little spray adhesive to hold it down to the glass. Then clean it up with acetone. Numerous copies, just peel one off when you need it. -- Jack http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/xmissionbobo/ |
