The Delft Clay system of sand casting is simple to use, and although it doesn't
give the distinctive texture of cuttlebone, does the same things. Some things
it does a good deal better (better details).


Or this system Quick-Cast MMD witch is easier to handle with small forms for
the sand clay is more firm and a little bit elastic.

That looks like an interesting system, Heinrich. Thanks for the tip. I also
like the attached crucible, which should make pouring the molds easier.
However, looking at the Schula web site, I don't see it offered. Do you happen
to know approximately how much that kit costs?
