Does anyone know of a free site that has charts for the NFL football team
logos? In particular the Raiders and the 49er's. Or even one that is not
too expensive.

If you find them free, or as individual charts on EBay or similar
locations, they're almost guaranteed to be copyright violations. I've
spoken with the Director of Marketing for the Chicago Bears as well as
for the Chicago Blackhawks in search of patterns for these two teams
and was told by both gentlemen that the only licenses were granted to
a company called Nomis.

Nomis has the licenses for the major sports leagues - Baseball, NFL, NBA,
and NHL. They don't do much - but have booklets with sets of logos, and some
very basic designs. FWIW, they're not very expensive.

After those conversations, though, I did find a company that has a
pattern called "Ready for Football" (the company is Puddin Designs).
The stitched part is a football field with the end zones and a helmet
in team colors (but not logos) and they come with a licensed pewter
charm that attaches along the 50 yard line. I bought mine at a local
store, but they can definitely be ordered by your LNS or online shop.

Sounds cute. There are some other designs out there that show up, just no
one else likely wants to pay for the licensing.

In some of the sports the teams can have a small amount of specific to them,
local marketing licensing. It's a PITA, but I'm dealing with this now with
some sports designs and a local major team.

Good luck,
