So, I got a Kenmore Monogrammer.
Basically, the device is made for a machine with a vertical bobbin.
You'd take off the cover in front of the bobbin area, and there's a
thingy that gets attached to the front of the machine. The buttonholer
or the monogrammer can be attached into the thingy, and they then get
their power from the rotation of the bobbin, as far as I can tell.

Not quite. The plate that replaces the bobbin cover has a gear that
runs off the motor. That gear runs the buttonholer and monogrammer.

Now would you happen to have got any presser feet with this? And
would the height from base to locking screw be about 1-1/8" (AKA the
Super High Bar)? Because in that case I can use the whole kit and
caboodle.
