It would be nice if there were a cure for breast cancer, just as it would be
nice if there were a cure for everything that ails us. With regard to this
particular post, however, I have two comments:

1. Heart disease kills more women than breast cancer. We need a foundation to
raise funds for research into heart disease **in women**, who have been sadly
underrepresented in the research that has been done to date.

2. Weekly Planet recently ran an investigative story about the incestuous ties
between the folks behind the SGK Foundation and various folks whose interests
are at odds with the stated purpose of the foundation. You can read it he
